Introducing the GT2 driver, crafted for golfers seeking speed and forgiveness on every shot. The GT2 driver excels for both on- and off-center strikes, thanks to its innovative Speed Ring and Variable Face Technology, ensuring consistent ball speed across the entire face. The higher MOI design of the GT2 maximizes stability, making it ideal for players struggling with consistent impact points.
The GT2’s refined shape offers a confidence-inspiring look and enhanced aerodynamic performance. With a longer front-to-back clubhead and a slightly shallower clubface, the GT2 adopts a traditional pear shape reminiscent of the GT3. An interchangeable rear weight allows for customized headweight and swingweight, ensuring personalized performance and feel.
All GT models, including the GT2, feature the advanced Seamless Thermoform crown and Split Mass Construction. These innovations, combined with other model improvements, provide unparalleled driver performance.
Each model in the GT lineup boasts an ultra-lightweight crown crafted from a new Proprietary Matrix Polymer. This groundbreaking material, a first in golf clubhead design, provided Titleist engineers with exceptional flexibility in internal weight positioning, resulting in significant performance enhancements. The crown is seamlessly wrapped to the sole through an advanced thermoforming process, creating a sleek, clean appearance with no visible seam.
The weight savings from GT's Thermoform Crown allowed Titleist engineers to re-position discretionary weight to optimal spots within the clubhead. Mass was strategically shifted to the front, enhancing speed through CG placement, and to the rear, ensuring stable, high-MOI performance. Each of the three models features different CG placements, offering players the flexibility to choose the right combination of speed, launch angle, and spin for their game.
Enhancements in internal construction and weight distribution have enabled unprecedented optimization of aerodynamics across the three models. Previously unattainable due to design limitations, this breakthrough allows the GT drivers to sport streamlined profiles that minimize drag and boost clubhead speed.
The GT’s remarkably fast face is powered by two key technologies. An enhanced titanium Speed Ring strengthens and stabilizes the clubface perimeter, ensuring maximum ball speed on-center strikes. Additionally, Variable Face Thickness (VFT) maintains consistently high ball speeds on off-center hits, minimizing distance loss.
