The HiBore XL combines advanced forgiveness, A.I.-optimized technology, and a unique triangular design to deliver an extra-large, dynamic striking area for greater distance and tighter shot dispersion across the face. It also features ActivWing technology for enhanced downswing stability and an adjustable sole weight positioned low and deep to promote high launch and improved MOI.
To create Cleveland's most forgiving driver yet, they designed an extra-large face. To balance the increased head volume, they tapered the sides, and by positioning the rear weight low and deep, they achieved the signature triangular shape.
Why the larger face? The HiBore XL boasts 19% more surface area than its predecessor, delivering up to 17 additional yards on extreme off-center hits and reducing partially missed shots by up to 24%.
Thanks to its triangular footprint, which minimizes vibrations in the sole and crown, the HiBore XL delivers a satisfying sound at impact—pure music to your ears with every piped tee shot.
The HiBore XL showcases an innovative A.I.-designed chassis, enhancing both forgiveness and sound. With one of the largest ball-striking areas in the industry, it empowers amateur golfers to achieve greater distance while keeping more tee shots in play.
This A.I.-optimized variable thickness face pattern is meticulously remapped to maximize flex at impact, expanding and reshaping the sweet spot. The result is improved energy transfer across the face, delivering greater forgiveness, enhanced consistency, and increased ball speed.
ActivWing interacts with the oncoming airflow throughout the swing, generating aerodynamic forces that stabilize the clubhead for more consistent delivery at impact. This results in improved downrange performance and greater distance consistency.
The HiBore XL features a 12g adjustable rear weight, allowing golfers to customize the club’s swing weight (additional weights sold separately). Additionally, every HiBore XL driver comes equipped with a 1.5-degree adjustable hosel sleeve, providing precise control over loft, face angle, and lie adjustments for optimal performance.
An 8g weight positioned at the end of the shaft counterbalances the club, enhancing control with no added effort. This counterweight creates a lighter feel during takeaway and maintains stability through impact.
